If there is something to learn about college is that despite the great time and fun you have in your classes and with the people, you are ALWAYS busy. Specially at the end of the semester time when the sea of papers, articles and exams threatens with drowning you all the way to the bottom.
So as i said before, i have this nebulous idea of becoming and engineer at some point but, for now I am training to be a physicist. Doesn't sound exciting I know but, I have to tell you that it doesn't matter how many sleepless night thinking about exams or projects, about quantum dots or hamiltonian equations i have to suffer, i just cant get enough of the gift of knowledge. The sweet taste discovering and experiencing new things. i believe it is just impossible to get tired of been intellectually as well as emotionally challenged every day.
It is more or less during this last weeks of the semester when the happy young fellow from august turns into a spectral figure that moans around the halls carrying a heavy load of book and thoughts about the "if i had finish that before maybe i could be somewhere else right now". Heavy looks and stressed backs make the characters of this drama as captivating as the hunchback of notre dame.
But like everything in life, at the end of this last week we start seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Just like magic, the curse of finals week fades and gives a new air to those who persevered and survived the storm. The thoughts of christmas and valuable time with the loved ones gives strength to the fearless warriors that fight their last crusades in hopes for a better tomorrow.
Now i shall take that sword and ride to defeat this Mechanics homework that has kept me awake for such a long time.
Have a merry christmas and good luck during finals week
